I have never had large breast so i dont personally know the pain. But i do know of some that have had it done. It like all surgeries is painful. You will have to wear a sports bra. And you might as well say good bye to house work for several weeks. I cant help with the other questions, but i wish you well. My RNY is scheduled for dec 19. good luck, Tamara

Dear Vicki: Thank you so much for your post today about "just having had major surgery." I'm about three week post-op and had to return to work last Tuesday (already) because of circumstances beyond my control; Anyway, I'm exhausted and feel weak----reason being just experienced 'major surgery' and my body is now dealing with a lot less food/carb intake. Anyway, it felt good to read your post. I'm finding that a lot of persons I'm working with don't understand what I've just been through; It's hard not to feel senstive about that. Please take care. Sincerely, Lori Ann

I'm home , I home, I'm really really home!! Iwas not sure thatI would actually get here. I came home after 5pm on sunday evening. I have been running fevers during the night and was afraid that they weould make me stay! I still had a fever last night, my doc says that it is respiratory. I hope they go away soon- it make it very hard to sleep. I want to thanks everyone who was supportive- everyone who wrote a note of encouragement on my surgery page, all the folks that talked to me while I was on the internet in the hospital, the calls I recieved and most of all my wonderful angel Darlene. You all have been very supportive and I am not sure I would have done as wellwith out you!! I also want to thank Pzaz and Monica..my co-hospital buddies who spoke with me while I was in the hospital and Pzaz called me after she had been discharged. Thanks for your support. And, even tho he never reads this, I have to give the biggest thanks to my absolutely dear, supportive and love of my life husband, who was there to make sure that the nurses did not treat me bad, and that I had a hand to hold when I was scared. I coouldn't have even started this journey with out your support, honey. I look forward to continuing ot meet with you'al in the chat room nad shrinking on a daily basis!!
