Hi Karen, best wishes on your upcoming new life. Dr. Chin is great, I had a lap RYN on 9/30/02, he did a great job on me, I had very little pain and my incissions are all nice and straight. Stay positive and you will come thru with flying colors. I am down 75lbs in 4 months. Its worth it! Take care and God bless. Rose

Karen, good luck on your surgery! I had my surgery with Dr. LePort on Dec 12th. I live up in North Pole, Alaska... and just wanted to let you know that a special friend of mine will be down there having surgery the same day as you! So, you will be "surgery twins!" His name is Frank Martin (he lives up here in Fairbanks, Alaska). He's a heck of a nice guy and very nervous... so if you see him, please give him some encouragement! Thanks!
