I had my surgery on the 14th of Feb. I am doing ok. I came home the day after surgery. The drain tube is something I am really looking forward to getting out. But other than that I am sticking to my liquids. My doctor doesnt allow protein drinks at all. I am on broth and gatorade and juices until the 21st. I get the tube out that day, thank God! The it's on to cream soups. I am feeling good though. I get tired but that is expected. I walk every morning and every evening. I take my showers and bathe with my ivory soap. lol I sleep in my recliner and take my pain meds only before bed, just to help me sleep all night, not for pain. After surgery I did ask, what in the hell have I done, but now I am ok with it...lol I am losing weight but I dont want to post how much because I am still in awe of it. I dont believe my scales and they are NEW! lol I am going to wait a while before I actually post what I have lost. Would I recommend this surgery to anyone, NO, but YES I would to certain people. You have to have good support at home and you have to be ready emotionally for this. So if you are reading this searching for answers I will gladly talk to you just email me...I am so ready to be healthy and I know I am on my way there...

Sorry to hear about the cancellation of your surgery. It stinks that you were there and all set to go. It will happen though. Stay positive!!! Good luck.

I want to thank everyone for your support. I was cancelled on the day of my surgery. I was in the pre op room and was bumped. I go back to the hospital on the 14th of Feb. I am so afraid it will happen again. But as soon as I have the surgery i will update my profile. Thank you...

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do.
