I'm baaaaaack!!!! I would have been on here sooner but i had some problems with my computer when i got home friday night and finally today am back up and running. I will go into greater detail on my own page but I just want people to know how easy this has been for me. I had my surgery on wednesday and came home on friday. I only used pain meds the first day and have used none since. I was up walking about 3 hours after i got to my room and they couldn't keep me in bed the next day. My first day home on saturday i got up at 6 and washed dishes and made breakfast for my husband. That afternoon i went to walmart, eckerd and HEB of course my husband drove. Today was my second day home and i walked 1 mile on my treadmill, i took it slow, about 30 minutes. I drove to see my mom in the hospital about 25 minutes away. I have to ask my surgeon, Dr. Wongsa, if he just made those lap cuts and stapled me back up! LOL No i know he did a great job because i am not hungry at all. Well i know i sound like i am bragging but i guess i am! I am really proud of my recovery and i attribute it to my loosing 16 pounds prior to surgery, walking an hour a day on my treadmill, drinking at least 64 ounces of water and eating high protein. By the way i had so many wonderful ladies come and see me, all of which but one have had the surgery. Thanks to patti lewis for stepping up to be my angel and let me say she has been all of that. She came to see me several times and has been such support. My one non surgery visitor was paula puffer, she is my good friend. She came and watched over me and also gave me a pedicure and manicure!!!! The nurses were totally jealous! I think everyone should have a fairy godmother!!!

Just visited Kristin in the hospital. She is sleepy but doing fine. We walked around the 2nd floor and sat to visit for awhile. She only experienced a pressure feeling in her chest. The surgery lasted 1hour and 45 minutes.
