Hi all, Aimee here! I just wanted to say I'm home & The switch went well despite a few hinks (a bit of an elevated heart rate & some fevers, both ok now). It took them 4 hours to do the switch & despite my previous adhesions, it was done lap. That was great because I had open ops before & this was way less pain in the incision site. Thanks for all your prayers & good thoughts. I will post more when I can.

Well, tomorrow is the big day. I just got the call from DR.Gagner's office that I am the second procedure of the day (after a non WLS procedure). They expect me to be in the OR by 10:30 AM thankfully. I really didn't want to lay around all day waiting. Thanks so much for your prayers & good wishes! The confort, support & knowledge I have gotten from this area as well the the duodenal switch egroup, has been truly amazing. I wish you all back the same good wishese you sent to me & I will post as soon as I'm able. I will be in Mt Sinai hospital in NYC in case anyone wants to say hi (if they're there). Thanks again & see you after I'm switched!! Aimee Lefkowitz
