"He was very nice. He explained everything very well (I had done a lot of research ahead of time, and he didn't leave anything out). He answered all of my questions completely. I had previously heard he was a bit on the gruff side, but he wasn't that way when I saw him! He also came to our support group as a "guest speaker" for a Q & A session. He is sometimes described as a "man of few words" but I think that's because he's a bit shy. But he is a fantastic surgeon, I'm amazed that he was able to do everything laproscopically. He visited me every day in the hospital and was very nice. You couldn't choose a better WLS surgeon! He has the most experience of any surgeon in the Rochester area, and has operated on patients weighing up to about 700 pounds."
