Hi, Beth. I bet you're really anxious about now! I had my surgery 14 months ago. I had open surgery too. I just wanted to say that even though it will be really rough the first couple of days, hang in there and know that it's all worth that! The first 2 days were incredibly hard for me. But now I am sooooo happy! I have lose 135 pounds and I'm a new person. I want to run now! I never did before. So keep your chin up and do exactly what they say to make your recovery successful. You'll be happy real soon!
