"Dr. Thirlby was recommended to me by my primary care Dr., my diabetis specialist, and numerous people who have been patient's of Dr. Thirlby's. I waited five month's for my appointment, and was dissapointed by the long delay, but was told he was worth the wait. I have seen him once, and have another preopp. appointment scheduled in two weeks. My first impression of him was positive, I found him to be attentive, straight forward, and sincere. His office staff was very busy, but friendly. I don't believe he offers an aftercare program, other than the usual postopp. care. He was open about the risks of surgery. I have numerous health issues that, for me, outweigh the surgical risks. Surgical competence is allways my highest priority, if he has a great bedside manner, that's a bonus, but not required. I think I did detect some humor, which I always appreciate. "
