Angie's angel, Susan Bickley, asked me to share some very sad news with Angie this morning. I called Angie and I must tell you her voice was so-o-o strong. If you didn't know she was in the hospital recovering from MAJOR surgery, you would never know from her voice. I know she is uncomfortable and in pain, but she sounds wonderful. The news I had to share with Angie nearly broke my heart but I want to share it with this group as well. Maybe it will help ease the sadness I feel. One of our members, and someone I hold dear to my heart, has suffered a tremendous loss this weekend. My dear friend Susan Bickley, an AMOS member, has lost her younger brother. He lived with Susan and her husband and was just a teenager. Susan is devastated but her husband has such strength for her. Please say a little prayer for her today.. and for her brother as well. Also keep asking for continuous strength for Angie. She is a remarkably strong woman.

Flying in the co-angel's seat. Went to see Angelia today. She still had her NG tube but was waiting to get it out. Se passed her leak test and all her signs are good. You and I know she feels like crap, but let me tell you, that's one feisty woman. She was so ready for this. I am so glad she is doing well

Angel landing again.... Angelia is still in ICU, however she is off the vent and her o2 stats are at 96, which is great. she was in and out although she was alert. Her sister Kathy was there so I finally got to meet her. Her children came up to see her and she became even more alert. She wanted to see her new grandbaby, but babies are not allowed. Anyhow, she seems to be coming through strongly and she should be in a regular room tomorrow. I hope to see her tomorrow as i will leave town for the weekend, but she will have a great co-angel to watch over her. Her family is really supportive for her wich helps alot. I cant wait til she is up and walking. She still has along way to go but she is finally on the "other" side! HURRAY for ANGELIA...you did it!!! Love ya, your angel

Angelia, I said a prayer for you today. I hope you get off the vent very soon and can start a great recovery period.

Angel flying in here....thank you Sam Mckee, I am naming her Angelias Co-Angel. I am sure Angelia wont mind. Anyhow, Angelia got out of surgery this afternoon and she is in ICU and on a ventilator. The nurse said she was doing good, however her O2 stats were low and her _____? levels were high, so she is on vent and will remain until her levels improve. other than that the nurse was kinda vague. We missed her family. Sam and went at Dinner time, so they probably gave Angelia a break and went to eat. Well that is the update for now. I will update more later when I find out more.

I'm not Angie's angel but just reporting an early update since Susan is at work. Angie was late getting in to surgery this morning because her blood decided to thin too much. She finally went in in the same great mood as she was in last night...raring to go. She was out of surgery and in recovery at noon. Her angel and I will make a short visit this evening and Susan will give a more detailed report. We hope that all continues to go well for Angie as she begins her revocery.
