Debra, Congrats on your Surgery date. I too am scheduled July 23rd. AAHHHHHHHHHHH I researched and read for about a year also talked to my doc jumped through all the hoops, except I need clearance from my heart doc. Which may come Monday June 24th after my stress test. Then my pre op testing is June 26th. 2 more hoops and I pray all goes well. I look at myself and ask how in the world did I come to this....I want to change my life so much I know this is a tool and I have been in counseling since Sept 2001 and it has been a life saver. you goota have your head in the right place. I am soooooo ready and worry that something will stop my surgery. You will be in my prayers!!! See ya on the other side soon. Melinda C

My very best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery with Pacific Bariatric. I know all will go well for you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at PB in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 300 lbs. Our dr (Rumsey) was wonderful and we both have great respect for him. We have had fantastic service from him and his staff and also the staff at the hospital. We both with you all the best luck.
