Hi Michele, I just read your post...I am in the same boat as you with the quitting smoking...although my dr. hasn't insisted on it, I have heard from many that I need to.My surgery date is in 45 days...I am giving myself till sunday to quit...I have a hypnosis tape I am going to try to drill in my head,and then just look to my heart for the rest.I figure why am I putting myself through this surgery for my health,then smoke ??? I have smoked since3 I was 10, I am now 32!!! Maybe we can be support for eachother?

Hello Michele, Thank you so much for your kind words and well wishes. Do you have a surgery date yet? Never fear it will happen. I've waited a year and my big day is coming soon. Let me know what you find out and if you have any surgery questions that I may be able to answer please ask me. I have received so much encouragement and wisdom from this site. I have to agree with you..... I am waiting for the Bariactric main office to send the letter to my insurance they promised they would work on it in the next couple of weeks. My husband leaves for Korea in the next 6 wks it would be nice for him to be here :)
