"My first impression of Dr. von Rueden was that he had kind eyes, looked you in the eye when he spoke to you. His office staff was efficient and kind. He was informative and honest. I went into the appointment guns blazing, I think I my have overwhelmed him. I have done a lot of research and attended the info session. All aspects of pre,post and perioperative areas were covered. There is a structured aftercare with visits up to two years out and a support group. The risks of surgery were discussed. I think Dr. von Rueden was a 10! I think The Program Director covered all bases and was very nice. I think surgical competence is #1 but a good bedside manner certainly goes a long way."
