"Dr. Hoestra is wonderful and good looking too!! I have heard nothing but praise about him. My surgery went great and I have had one follow-up with him and will be back in 3 weeks.
Him has explained most things each step of the way and even made a special trip to the clinic just to see me!
He is not as forthcoming in certain areas, but he always answers when asked. His seminars cover the general things, beyond that you may have to ask.
Know that he is a great surgeon, and ready to answer all your questions and concerns about the procedure.
I feel things are somewhat lacking in the follow-up plan, and received no referral for a support group after surgery. I finally hired my own local nutricianist. Will try to find a support group.
Dr. Hoekstra is a wonderful surgeon with a very nice bedside manner. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor. His staff is very kind and helpful as well.
