Hello Angela!!! Congrats on making the decision to improve your health and life! You are in excellent hands with Dr. Vaughn & The Barix Clinics Team! By now your surgery is over, but the journey has just started! Along the way, you may need some immediate support. I thought you may be interested in joining an online email support group for Barix Clinics patients (we have lots of Dr. Vaughn patients). We are a great group of friends and supporters. Best of all, we all follow the Barix program. We have members in every stage of the WLS process and we'd love to have you join us. Best of luck to you Angela. I hope all goes smoothly and quickly with your surgery. When I saw you are from Des Moines, I was hoping that we might cross paths in the hospital, as my surgery is on the 22nd. I'm glad you didn't take NO for an answer and you are proceeding with your journey toward health!! Be well and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thank you all for your support! I am not really nervous just very anxious! I went to get a release from my asthma doctor and he is making me take a sleep apnea test tomorrow before he will release me. Im getting down because if I have it I may have to postpone my surgery another month! I just want to get the surgery over with while my lungs are still in good shape. Winter always is worse on my lungs. What a roller coaster huh?
