I saw Melissa's Mom and Sister tonight. They said that Lisa (as I know her) went back to the Doc today for a follow-up visit and had lost 22 lbs. She's also lost an additional 11 lbs of fluid weight that she gained while in the hospital...making a grand total of 33 lbs. Not bad for less than 2 weeks post surgery.

Lisa just a litle note to let you know I'm thinking of you and your in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear you are doing good and that are walking. Go girl! The pain will soon ease and you can acheive things you have been wanting to do.

Spoke with Lisa's Mom again today...............Lisa is doing great...passed her leak test and has the pesky NG tube out. Seems Dr King is in surgery but soon as he is out he can clear Lisa for some nice juice. She has been walking the halls alot. GO LISA!!!!

Just spoke to Lisa's Mother and here is the update: Lisa was taken into surgery and was put to sleep at about 8:20....When the doc began he ran into alot of scar tissue from previous surgeries. Her mom was told that it took over 2 hours getting through that. He also found a enlarged liver, which he said was in kinda bad shape. He fixed a hernia and did note that her intestines were not exactly in the right place.She was in surgery for 4 hours and went to recovery for 1 hour. They are going to be getting her up moving soon. She is in a good bit of pain but is doing pretty good. I will update more as I learn it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Lisa's surgery was changed from today till tomorrow Dec 8th. She is leaving for the hotel today so that she can be at the hospital bright and early. Please everyone stop by and give her well-wishes and hugs and prayers...
