"My 2 complaints are: Many nurses aides as well as some nurses don't speak English very well, so there was some communication problems at times. The other is that the bathroom in your room doesn't lock and the nurses or aides DO NOT knock before entering. I had a nurse just walk in on me, and instead of stepping back and shutting the door she just came in to get somthing that she was looking for. I understand that in a hospital setting you lose some privacy, but that was un acceptable. "
"Had the initial consultation on 08/29/03. It went great. Dr. Li was very thorough and answered all of mine & my Husbands questions. He expects a lot, but I had all my paperwork in order and had already lost 35lbs in the past couple of months for this, so he's not requiring any more. I have 1 more appt on 9/29 when I will get my surgery date. >>> Got my date: 11/07/03 YAY, though I must say the return appt was pretty much a waste of time, we went over the same stuff as the 1st appt & they hadn't sent the letter for ins approval, when I was told we were putting this appt out a month so that we would HAVE the approval in hand when making the appt. OH well, since I BC PPO, there should be no problem. At least we got the date!!!"
