Randall Bolar

"It was my experience that he was not sympathetic at all. I learned to overlook the somewhat cold bedside manner because he also seemed to be awfully confident and self assured. He was straightforward and to the point. He was right about everything he told me, down to how to apply for insurance coverage. The staff was wonderful. I least liked how he stated quite bluntly that none of his patients had any self control. Ignore his negative attitude toward morbid obesity, and take advantage of his professionalism. Yes, but I didn't get the follow up information until after my post op visit. Yes. Very seriously. Overall, he was wonderful. The most important thing to do was to do the surgery well and accurately. Surgical competence, hands down."
