Lucinda, congratulations on making a safe journey to the losing side! Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be kind to yourself along the way.
UPDATE!!! I'm not Lucinda's official angel but I wanted to give an update. I saw her profile on this site and decided to give her a call at the hospital. She is such a NICE lady! She had surgery on February 8,2002. She seems to be doing quite well. She started drinking fluids today in small amounts. She will be in the hospital a few more days. If you havent done so, Please visit her surgery page and leave her a word of encouragement. It will be nice for her to come home and see all the encouraging notes from her WLS friends. Thank You All!
Lucinda, I'm so sorry I didnt see your post for an angel before now. I would have loved to been your angel! I'm from West Virginia and Dr Johnson will hopefull be doing my surgery too. I wish you the very best! Take it easy. Keep me informed and I will do my best to support you during your recovery. DCarpenter
