"Dr. Bernsten is very proactive and professional. The office staff is wonderful and helped expedite my surgery. I had special circumstances because of insurance and they graciously accomodated me. Dr. Bernsten is very thorough in explaining the risks of surgery but you must also take responsibility and attend meetings and read the required material. The patient is ultimately the one who must live with this. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Her surgicial technique is very good. I had a Lap Rouen-Y with no complications so far. (Surgery was 6/24/03) I would rate her high. One draw back would be after patient visits in the hospital. She was brief and to the point not a whole lot of discussion. But, at the time I wasn't really in the talkative mood. Also, I'm more into the professional thing however some patients may not bel. I have a follow up visit soon."
