"If I hd to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat and I would choose Dr. Udobi at the Kansas Medical Center. In my opinion he is the best man for the surgery. He is a God fearing man, knowledgeable in his field. He has a caring heart for all people. There is a great staff (Gayle) working at his side.
He will share with you all the risk of the surgery, plus he gives each patient a 72 page booklet to read over before the surgery. This way you know what you are getting into. He is a very easy man to talk to. He is able to explain things to you and not talk over your head.
I rate him overall as excellent and the right man for the job. He will not let you down.
He is the kind of Doctor that stays at the hospital with his patients. I tell him he needs to get a life and his reply "My patients are my life. It nothing to see Dr. Udobi on the hospital floor at 1, 2, 3, 4 o'clock in the morning checking in on you. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Udobi. I have not met all the over doctor that are knowledgeable in this field (WLS). However, I still feel Dr. Udobi is the best. "
