Hi, Lorie, thank you for you post on my page and e-mail. It was a great pleasure to be your angel and even a better pleasure to meet you in person. I am so glad that you are doing well post-op and I think the "ups" and "downs" of this ride will get better as time goes on. I will stay in touch with you...if you need me for anything, I will always be here for you.~~Irene~~

Hi all, I am alive & well. Everything has just gone so well I can't believe it. God takes care of us. I want to thank everyone here for all your prayers & good wishes. I especially want to thank Irene Hayes-Oliveras, she is my angel, she has been fabulous. She came to see me in the hospital, what a nice treat. Thanks again for everyones support, I couldn't have dont it w/out you all. Thanks again, Lorie!!!

^j^ Angel Update~~I went to see Lorie today and she is doing great. She looked so cute wearing her nightgown with duck prints!! She was walking around, feeling great as well. She should be coming home this weekend. I want to thank everyone for posting on her surgery page wishing her good thoughts and prayers. ^j^ Angel Flying Low...I spoke with Lorie this afternoon and she sounds great. She is still NPO but will begin liquids tomorrow. She said her pain feels like a burning sensation only and she is walking every hour. What a way to go Lorie!! Please keep Lorie in your thoughts that she continues to recover in a positive way!! ^j^ This Abgel Thanks You~~Irene~~~

^j^ Angel Update~~~I spoke to Lorie's husband Dave, who is so sweet, and he reported that Lorie went through the surgery fine and is in her room. He also stated that the nurse's were checking her blood pressure and as soon as they did that, Lorie was going to get up and take a walk. WhooHooo!! ^j^ Angel would like to Thank You all for keeping Lorie in your thoughts and prayers. Irene

^j^ Angel Update!! WhooHoo, Lorie is now officially on the "other side." I don't have all the particulars as they were wheeling her into her room when I was connected to her phone. I will wait a few and call over there and catch her husband. What a way to go Lorie!!. Please keep her in your thoughts. This ^j^ angel thanks you/Irene

Lorie, my gift to you is strength to bear the surgery, healing for a good recovery, and the peace of mind you will feel when this is all over and you know you have made the right choice. My prayers are with you/Irene, your ^j^ Angel. Thanks for letting me be you angel.
