"I have to say the whole staff on the 5th floor, Farr Building of Beth Isreal Deaconess Hospital were excellant. I really felt my care was fire rate. Everyone was concerned about my proper recovery and comfort. Dr Mun (surgeon) and his support staff of doctors who visited me at least twice a day sometimes more were great. This is also a teaching hospital so you usually see 3 or 4 doctors at the same time. I will recommend to anyone the Gastric Bypass program at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital is first rate!"
"I Met Dr Edward Mun while attending a couple of support group meetings which are part of the pre-op requirements for Gastric Bypass at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Dr Mun strikes me as very knowledgeable and competent surgeon. Somewhat quiet and reserved. He was concise about the risks associated with the surgery. He is very picky on who he will do surgery on. He wants his patients to be successful. Surgery is only a tool. He emphasizes your need to make lifelong changes and aftercare is just as important. I look forward to my appointment with Dr Mun on February 13th. "
