Trinity Medical Center

"I felt like I had high school kids taking care of me. I needed help with something and 3 of them started arguing outside as to who was going to help. It is under construction so it looks shabby--the furniture is old and worn out--it just appears a little unprofessional. I know they have opened a new wings that I hear is great. The rooms are horribly small and visitors cannot sit anywhere in comfort."

Harry Meyers

"I met with Dr. Meyers last Friday. He has great skills when it comes to Laparoscopic Surgery. WLS is in addition to other surgeries that he performs. Ruth, his nurse will give you all of his background at "orientation" which was held right in his waiting room. Very informal but informative. Ruth goes through the details with you and you'll really like her. She just really seems to care about the patients. The entire staff was great! I don't have anything negative to say at this point. I would rate them very high. They address the risks of the surgery and yes they have an aftercare program. As for the last questions this site asks, Which is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or both. Well, here is what I have to say about that. I have seen some postings that say Yeah, he is a hard @#$ but he is the best. You know what guys and gals---there is no reason why you should not expect excellent surgical skills and good bedside manners. I won't settle for less and I don't think Dr. Meyers nor his staff will let me down. This entire statement is my opinion only. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and locate a surgeon that you like. "
