Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/w/w-susan-W1061758057-1fc.jpg)

Greetings One and All... I've been remiss in letting you all know personally that I am home and doing better than I expected. Lettitia, thanks for letting everyone know how I was doing and for all of your support, you are truly an ANGEL!!.. Today, is Thursday, 3 full days after surgery...I am adjusting well to the new way of eating and amazed each day at how little actually fills me up. It doesn't help sitting at home and looking at all of the commercials regarding foods, but it makes me smile to know I made the choice to eat to live and not to live to eat. Better food choices, exercise, and nutrition are the major players in this new game, but it would all mean nothing without the change in attitude, which in part comes from the support of all of you!! Thanks for the well wishes and encouragement. You can call me a LOSER anytime..I mean it...lol![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/pics/hl/hodges-letticia-h1053379815-1fc.jpg)

God is good, all the time!! I spoke with Simone yesterday and she is doing well. She is a little tender, but that's expected. She said she doesn't feel bad at all considering her "insides had been changed". She is in good spirits and is expected to go home today.(Wow thats fast!)She is scheduled for her leak test this morning, so I am prayerful that all will go well. Her doctor said there were no complications and she was doing well. I will update again when I get more info!! Way to go Simone on your new life!!!!!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/uploads/avatar/194074.jpg)
