WELCOME HOME CHERYL!!! I hope you are still feeling well and your recovery is quick. Once you are able to eat regular foods we will have to get together for lunch. (We can split one in half..lol) Rest and takes things slow and easy. I'm a phone call away if you need to talk!

Angel Update....I called Cheryl at 8 pm this evening and she answered her phone and we talked for about 20 minutes. She sounds wonderful...just tired. She is looking forward to being able to drink some water. She is glad the surgery is over and looking forward to her recovery. Godspeed dear friend!

Well, I can't believe that my time is here! In only 3 hours I'll be getting ready to go to the hospital. My sugery begins at 7:30. I hope I've remembered everything I needed to do. I'm excited for my new future yet saddeness is still with me due to my fear of that 1%. I was going to write my kids letters for when they are older but I just can't. I know these feelings are normal--its the dreaded unknown that haunts one. Good luck to everyone tommorrow. Hopefully, I'll be walking the halls by dinertime. Keep your fingers crossed. Cheryl

Hello Cheryl! I was just reading the message board. Best wishes to you for your upcoming surgery on Friday. As your angel stated, you're in great hands with Dr. Oh. He was my surgeon. I had surgery on May 9. If you'd like to e-mail me, feel free. There is a support group that meets monthly in North Syracuse. If you are interested, let me know and I will give you the details. Again, best wishes.
