"Actually Ihad never met my surgeon until 6 m onths into the approval process...the screening is done by a bariatric program coordinator and then the work-up is farmed out to other health professionals. Personally I find this sub-optimal care and would have liked to have at least a group informational meeting with the surgeon present."
