"My first impression of Dr. Herf was that he has no bedside manners. He was direct, yet not informative at all, however I had researched for 2 years and educated myself. After I got approval for my surgery his attitude changed.
He didn't volunteer information, but answered any questions I had. His staff are nice especially Lisa who handles the insurance for him. FYI I got the pre-approval from my insurance myself. Dr. Herf did an excellent job on me and I would say his surgical competence is outstanding. He requires follow up visits, but don't expect to see him at your scheduled time, he is very busy and always running behind.
