"The recovery nurses were wonderful, and the night time ICU nurses (especially Daniel) were angels. The day time ICU nurses lacked any sense of compassion, but I was not exactly critical at that point. The only problemI had was waiting to get into a regular room. I was stuck in ICU for a long time, and they would not let me get up and walk. The night nurses on the regular floor were great too. They just made you feel good."
"Dr. H was very laid back from the moment we met him. He was very thorough about explaining the surgery and what to expect. He also made my husband much more comfortable about the idea of this proceedure.
The office staff is great. They do all the insurance stuff and walk you through all the pre-op tests. Rhonda is an angel! She's there, patiently, to answer every question.
Aftercare has been good. I have had to deal with an incisional infection and they have kept a very close watch. Now I'm hoping to start a support group in my area since Dr. H. and the hospital and close to two hours drive for me."
