Faulkner Hospital

"Unfortunately, I had to have a second surgery at this hospital and I think my 2nd stay was worse than the first if that is possible. My back hurt so bad from laying flat in the most uncomfortable bed that on my third day i was trying to rearrange chairs, pillows anything to make myself more comfy and able to sleep. I asked the nurse for a geri chair at 4:30 am and didn't get one until 11am. I asked several times, docs nurses, aides and everyone ignored me until I cried and begged and I guess that got to them. I then begged my surgeon to release me that day because I couldn't stand the thought of spending another day in that room or that bed. They had orginally wanted to keep me a extra day but I was very persuasive and was allowed to go home. I would never ever recommend this hospital & considering it is in Boston where most of the worlds best hospitals are I am ashamed to say so. "

Lisa Ferzoco

"I met with Dr. Ferzoco for my surgery consultation. She was very gracious & understanding. She took time to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease about my surgery. She clearly indicated all the risks of this surgery and explained all the benefits as well.I feel totally confident and happy that she will be doing my surgery on 3/15/04"
