Hi Helena ~ I just wanted you to know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a safe trip to Mexico, a successful and safe surgery and a speedy and painless recovery. Please check out our local online support group, if you haven't already. It is for anyone in their wls journey and it doesn't matter who their doctor is. You can axcess it at ~ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Dallasites ~ It was very helpful to me before, during and after my surgery (4/17/01). I have lost 72# so far. BTW, how is Robin? I went and saw her at the hospital. God Bless!!!

Hi Helena. I am also having my surgery on August 28...3 days and counting! It seemed to take sooo long to get here but now is right around the corner. I don't know about your prep, but after today I am on nothing but water and cranberry or grape juice and popsicles! Monday is my "bowel" prep and antibiotic day and then it's THE big day! After reading your profile I was reminded once more how very very lucky I am that I am able to have a such a great insurance company "Keystone" BCBS and that they will cover this without any problem. One way or another you were determined to have this and I just know you will succeed. Take Care and God Bless and I will be thinking of you and looking for updates! Diana

Helena~I wish you the best with your upcoming surgery.13 weeks and over 55 lbs later I can definately say this is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself.Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless~Kim

Hi Helena: I just know things will go just great for you in Mexico. I am going on the 16th to have Dr. Rumbaut place the AGB. I think he is awesome! And what a nice vacation you will have!
