Hi Shannon I was so sorry to hear about your sisters passing.I know what she went through as six years ago I was in the same place In ICU fighting for my life with a bad celouities infection also.My body was shuting down they called my kids to come back 4 in the morning if they wanted to see me before I past.I have such a determanation that I will win over this. When I heard what took her life it humbled me that I will do what ever I can to help those fighting this battle.Your sister has the body she dreamed of now our Spirit is not overweight or sick its the body we live in here our earth suits. She is free now of all those things that hold us down. She is not part of your past she is in your future. She will be waiting with open arms to embrace you when you travel the journey she traveled. It hurts the pasting because we have to go on here with the void she left behind. You will see her still in the eyes of her son and those she touch in her time here. She will live in your heart forever.LORD BLESSShannon R. 21 years, 7 months ago
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS POSTED HERE OR SENT ME A DIRECT EMAIL, OFFERING THEIR SYMPATHIES TO THE LOSS OF MY BELOVED SISTER. SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN GREATFUL TO KNOW THAT YOU ALL CARED. SHE HAD BATTLED OBESITY FOR EVER. I GUESS IT DID WIN OVER HER. BUT SHE WOULD WANT ALL OF US TO PERSERVERE TOWARDS OUR GOAL WEIGHTS. SINCERELY, SHANNON RIDEOUTsage 21 years, 7 months ago

Hi, it is almost 3 months post-op and I'm down 74lbs. I still have atleast 200 lbs to go but boy do I feel a difference already!!! I am eating a bit better. I'm a vegetarian now. I can't tolerate meat but that doesn't bother me. I eat a lot of soup and salad. I have alot more energy. Overall I feel so much better about being me and I've never felt that before. Weight Loss Surgery was the best thing I ever did.About Me
