good for you getting rid of the ice cream! That's a good thing to do if you know you will just eat more if it's there! It sounds like you are taking the steps that will help you succeed!
I havent had the surgery yet(scheduled for this wed. the 13th)but I know that when I am in the house with nothing else to do I start prowling too! Sounds like the swim class will be a good thing! E-mail me if you want to talk and maybe we could encourage each other.
I am on the other side! My WLS date was changed from 3/8 to 2/16. I am 3 wks. post-op today and feel pretty good. Just came home from an hour's shopping. I "think" I have lost about 30 lbs. Will know more after my 1st check up on Tuesday. I had some Cheerios today, not crushed and had no problem. Going to try minced ckn breast this p.m.
I am using Whey protein powder from health food store. That other Solution stuff was awful. Still only able to get in about 600 cal. a day but working on it.
