"I had my first appointment with Dr. Vanguri on October 5, 1999. He seems to be a very kind yet straight-forward kind of doctor. The office staff were friendly and willing to talk to me if I had a question. He sat down with me and my husband and talked about my medical history, what the open RNY procedure is like with pictures, addressed all of our questions, explained the risks of WLS, and discussed aftercare and information about his WLS Support group meetings. He was very thorough and efficient.
