Hi everyone! I was going to wait until I saw Dr. Weinstein next week but I decided not to. I went my regular physician the day after Thanksgiving and had lost 16 more lbs and I got on the scale today and had lost 4 more! I am now down 88 lbs, 81 of that since Sept 14th the day of surgery! I still cannot get over it! Things are still going well and I have so much more energy now than I ever remember having! I hope everyone out there is doing well and will have a wonderful Holiday Season. Take care! Teresa :o)

Hello all! I know it's been awhile but I'm here now! I just haven't been online that much and when I am on I don't stay long because it hurts my back to sit in front of the computer for very long, especially after sitting in front of one all day at work as well. Anyway, I'm 2 months post-op now and have lost 61 lbs since the surgery but 68 lbs since my visit to the Dr in August, I had lost 7 lbs before I had the surgery. I have been doing very well as far as eating, no dumping or anything like that. I'm very careful when I eat so that will not happen. I am totally amazed by how little I eat and am TOTALLY content! Not long after surgery I started to have trouble sleeping with my CPAP machine so I have stopped using it, I couldn't sleep with it on and that wasn't good, I wasn't resting well at all with it on and so far I feel I'm getting a good nights sleep every night. I sleep through the night (as far as I know) and I wake up ready to go! And I'm not falling asleep at my desk at work! I am very pleased with all that has happened so far and would definitely do it all over again! It is so nice to wear my jewelry again and not have my fingers all swollen. My feet don't swell any more either. I was finally able to move the seat in my car up some so that I can reach the gas pedal better! I can sit in a chair now and put my socks on without having to stain! Love is wonderful! I wish everyone the best of luck with their WLS. It is a long hard road but it is all worth it to live a normal and healthy life!

Hi Teresa - I just know you are doing great and going out all of the time - or why else have you not written to me...lol...I hope that is exactly what you are doing and if it isn't then you should start right now. You are always on my mind and I look forward to seeing you Thursday.

Everyone gets an angel . . . you can't always see them, because sometimes, they are invisible. sometimes they are your pet when he kisses you . . . sometimes they are a small treasure you find . . . an angel might even be your friend. those angels are quiet, but what they are really saying is: "pink clouds! a good day is just around the corner." so if you begin to worry too much, just remember . . . somewhere an angel is looking out for you, too.

As You Recover... Rely on God's Love My heart goes out to you today. I am so sorry for what you are having to go through. More than anything, I wish I could make things easier for you. I do pray continuously for God to give you strength, and I know that in time He will. In the meantime, remember that I am here for you; even more importantly, God is, too. Rely on God's love, and know that He will never leave you or ignore your needs. In our weakness, God's strength can become our strength, when we lean upon the promises of His healing touch. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
