Hello all Today is 2/5/02 and as of this morning I have lost 58 1/4 lb's, it has been 11 week's today. I think this surgery was the thing to do for sure, I don't know why I waited for so long. I feel so happy and much healther than ever before. Good luck to all those waiting for surgery and keep striving forward. GOD BLESS Audrey Shattuck

Hello all, am very sorry that I haven't gotten back with you. Surgery went very well for me, was only in the hospital for 3 days. The 3rd morning was able to leave hospital early.12/13/01 will be 4 weeks post-op for me. Dr. Pilkington did my surgery, while doing my surgery he found that I had a very scared gallbladder and hernia, which he removed both.After my dr. removed my staple's 4 days early, he was called by the reserves to dr. in Texas, what a shock for me and of course his family he left that same day that he took out my staples. I am so thankful for him and his ability to help me. Every night I pray for him and his family that GOD will take care and watch over them.

Audrey; Soon, you will be on the "other side" of this weight loss issue, and I am so happy for you!! I live in Saginaw, not too far from you, and had surgery on 9-05-01 in Toledo, Ohio. I have lost 64 pounds so far, and this is the best thing I have ever done for myself, soon, you will feel that way too!! I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts on Thursday!!
