Hi Cathy! I just read a comment you posted about vitamins. You sounded quit knowledgable, and I've been trying to figure out what vitamins I should be taking. Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just got back from the doctor today and I've got a 51.5 pound loss since 8/15 (plus the other 41 pounds I lost since the first consultation in January). They told me to check with my regular doctor about discontinuing my blood pressure meds, so I'm going to do that tomorrow. Getting off blood pressure meds is one of my objectives. I've gotten the majority of the feeling back in my leg and that was another objective. As I continue to lose, it gets stronger and stronger. I haven't even missed my arthritis meds. Wow....this surgery is amazing.

I just got back from my first post-op appointment and I was down 28 pounds since my surgery on 8/15/2002. And they advanced my diet and I can have something FINALLY that I can chew. Nothing great, but at least it's chewable.

I was discharged this afternoon 8/17 from the hospital following my surgery on 8/15. Sometimes I pinch myself to see did it really happen, but was much more event-free than I realized. I'll update more later, but just wanted to check in.
