It's been two weeks today since I got out of the hospital. I went in on Monday and had my drain tubes taken out and I had lost 22 pounds. I am still taking Heprin shots and lots of vitamins, potassium, and pills for my gallbladder. I have went from clear liquids to protein shakes and soups. The cream of mushroom without the mushrooms I thought would taste so good was awful. I now have the trots in the evening so I think it could be from the sugar free hard candy. I spit it out before it gets too small. Sunday I graduate to pureed foods. I'm looking forward to that. I don't really grave anything and water alone stops the hunger. I think I'm doing pretty good compared to what I have heard others had to go through. I appreciate all the support from this site and all the wonderful people who come here and leave me a note. Thanks!

Congradulations Sandi on your surgery. I am praying that you have a quick and uneventful recovery. God bless you on your journey. Your message really hit me , I lost my Father in August this year and my Mother last July. Thank You

SANDI~~ Your post touched my heart. My Dad died in 1995 and he was the most important person in my life at the time. I know that he is with me during trouble, just as I know your father was with you...... BEST WISHES ON YOUR WLS JOURNEY.
