"I think Dr. Appel is great. I have read alot of negative things about his bedside manner. I don't see it. He is funny in his own way you just have to understand his sense of humor. Dr. Appel is a very busy man and one of the top 50 surg. in the US. Kathy and April his program managers are great. They let you know things as soon as they do. We all can get very impatient in this process, but believe me they are doing all they can for each patient. They are both very busy ladies and I don't envy their job. They do a great job. Dr. Appel is straight forward and will explain the procedure completely and answer any questions. Aftercare is very important to Dr. Appel and his staff and it is structured. I would rate Dr. Appel and his staff at a 10. It may take awhile, but in the end it is all worth it. "
