"The surgeon and his office/surgical team are wonderful. The nurses on the bariactric floor left A LOT to be desired. Dr. Ozment deserves much better hospital care than this. His staff is great but the hospital staff really drops the ball!"
"When I first started the whole process of WLS, I selected Dr. Bosquez (Tulsa, OK) for my surgery. He is a wonderful man and an excellent surgeon. However, my insurance excludes coverage for WLS and I am having to pay for the surgery myself.
I heard about Dr. Kerry Ozment through some internet friends. I have not met him yet but have done a great deal of research about him. He has done over 7,000 surgeries and is now the Medical Director at St. Vincent's Obesity Surgery Center. I have scheduled my orientation seminar with him on Feb 17, 2004. My preliminary surgery date has been scheduled for May 25, 2004. I look forward to meeting Dr. Ozment and will report more about him at that time.
2-17-04 I met with Dr. Ozment today and I think he is wonderful. He addressed all of the risks and benefits of the surgery and stressed the importance of follow-up and aftercare. He was very knowledgable and professional, yet personable. His staff (Judy and Madolyn) were very friendly and helpful. I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Dr. Ozment and rate him "EXCELLENT"."
