Whooo Hooo! Angel flying in! Andrea has her pre-op appointment for surgery on May 20th. Please welcome her to the AMOS family and send support. She is a bit nervous, but is doing GREAT! Has started her exercising and is getting ready for her new birthday! We are all here in your corner sweetie, cheering you on!

4/1/03 - I just wanted to express my feelings... I went to the required seminar last night. What an experience. I felt that I did get some good information out of it but for the most part it was rushed and they did not have anything organized!! Ahhhhh I found that I had missing papers that were suppose to be in my packet. How was I suppose to submit this paperwork correctly if I didn't have all the paperwork! I just had to vent. I hope that after all this paperwork is done it will go a little more smoother! =)

Hi Andrea: I just wanted you to know my thoughts will be with you as you go on your wls journey. Keep me posted on your progress and always know I am here to help you in anyway I can. Just remember the word patients if you remember nothing else, that is the key word for what your about to embark on. Talk to you soon.

Congrats on your Kaiser approval. I am w/Kaiser too and am having my surgery April 16th at Pacific Bariatrics. I know what an accomplishment you have made having been there myself-it's taken me a year from my first mention of WLS to my PCP to now. It's a LOOOOOOONG OLD HAUL, ain't it??
