Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side for a month now. I hope that all went well for you! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi Susan! I hope your surgery went well and that you are recovering quickly. I hope when you return that you will join us on the March 2004 board. We have a wonderful Marcher family there and everyone is very supportive. I live fairly close to you in Hesston and I will be having surgery on 3/11. I have met someone else who is having surgery the same day as I am and she also lives in Wichita. We should all get together sometime. I think we could be a great support to one another, especially since we will all be pretty much in the same boat. I will be praying for you! God Bless!!! Carrie Hall

This will be my last entry until I get home! I plan on having just the best surgery ever and am looking forward to lots of new things when this is all behind me. New clothes will be wonderful. Thanks to everyone for their support. It makes a BIG difference. Susan S.

Susan, I know that you are going to do well. I'll be praying for a safe and successful revision surgery and a speedy recovery! As a fellow medical transcriptionist who also had her surgery in February, I'll also be praying that you will feel totally rested and energized when you get back to work (and be able to understand the really hard docs!!) Remember "nothing is impossible with God." - Judi
