I can't even describe how I'm feeling right now. Its so close to pure elation...amazing. I have to go in a few weeks for an EKG and chest x-ray, then to see Dr. Bright and Crystal Johnson (his nutritionist). Then in 41 days I will be reborn. Both my oldest son (who will be 7 this year) and my step-daughter have March birthdays, and I view this surgery as my rebirth, so I hope they will be willing to share March with me :) I'm trying so hard to keep realistic expectations, but its kind of fun to dream. To know that in less that a year I will weigh lower than I have since I was 12. To know that over time I will most likely hit my 3rd grade weight of 165. To know that this time I truly do have the power to do this because my body won't be in a position to fight against me to the point that I can't win.
