Elissa, I want to apologize first for getting back to you so late. I only had Internet access at work and had to be careful how much time I spent on the web. Yesterday, I FINNALY got the cable net access and things will be a lot different now. Anyway, I just started looking into WLS this past June. I originally had my CONSULTATION appointment for March of 2004. I was lucky and last month got a call saying they had an opening on Dec. 29th. I now have my consultation appointment for Dec 29th at 9:30 am. I can’t wait to tell my mom. I’m just waiting for the right time. Karen

Good luck Karen, Do you have a surgery date yet? I started looking into WLS in February, my date is 1/26/04. I'm excited. I haven't told anyone yet either. It's like you're afraid they'll try to talk you out of it. I will start after my insurance approves me. Keep focused. Elissa
