Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).

TO EVERYONE THAT SENT ME WELL WISHES FOR MY SURGERY YESTERDAY THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. BUT, MY SURGERY WAS CANCELLED YESTERDAY. I WENT IN WAS GETTING READY TO PUT ON MY GOWN AND THEY CAME IN AND SAID THAT INSURANCE WAS NOT GOING TO COVER MY SURGERY. MY INSURANCE CO.(NYHART)SAID THAT MY APPROVAL LETTER WAS SENT IN ERROR. NYHART DETERMINES WHETHER OR NOT IT'S A COVERED BENEFIT THEN THEY SEND MY INFO TO ANOTHER CO. CALLED ICM AND THEY SEND IT TO A DOCTOR TO DETERMINE MEDICAL NECESSITY. WELL IT SEEMS THAT DOCTOR DENIED ME BUT NYHART APPROVED ME ANYWAY AND THEY DON'T HAVE THAT AUTHORITY TO DO THAT. IT TURNS OUT ICM'S DOCTOR WASN'T SENT ALL OF MY HISTORY. SO NOW I'M WAITING FOR APPROVAL AGAIN. I GUESS I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. HUMAN RESOURCE AT WORK SAID THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON THIS SO IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. MY DOCTOR AND ICM'S DOCTOR WERE TO HAVE A MEETING LAST NIGHT I HOPE I WILL KNOW LATER TODAY THEIR DECISION.
