"He is a very knowledgable, very compassionate, and very kind man. Everything about him exudes confidence and understanding. My impression grows stronger with each visit. His office staff reflects his demeanor. One can tell that the staff respects him completel. I can't think of anything that I did not like, although the difficulties I am now experiencing were not discussed prior to surgery. In all fairness, my difficulties are very unusual. More common difficulties were addressed prior to surgery. Future patients should be prepared to be impressed! Aftercare is of huge importance. I have had weekly appointments and there is a support group at the hospital. The nurse/coordinator has had the surgery herself so she knows what she is dealing with on a personal level. He was honest about the risks of surgery, outlining all aspects that apply to surgery in general and this surgery in paricular. I would rate Dr. Koren and his staff with an A++.
