I, too, had 2 Ceasareans--the first one was an emergency, and the second one was planned. I truly felt that I was prepared for the open RNY because of these two srugeries "under my belt." However, I must say that the RNY was much more painful for me. The second c-section was a breeze, and I recovered SOOOO quickly. I was prepared for it, and considered myself lucky to have the c-section, rather than a vaginal delivery. Not all people respond to pain the same way. For me, the RNY was worse. Maybe it's because I had immediate gratification--a baby. Hope this helps!

Hi Angela:) Just a little note to congratulate you on your up coming surgery! I am almost 3 weeks post-op and I am feeling better everyday! I have 2 kids also (2 & 4) and I know it was hard at first, but like I said it gets easier and easier!!!:) Good luck and best wishes!:)
