"My first impression was that Dr Smith was very busy but very concerned with my health. He seemed as though he was concerned about the health of obese patients and helping to cure the problem. I liked him. I have only seen him one time.
I am very pleased with the office staff. They are friendly and helpful, especially Cody.
I have not experienced anything negative with the office staff.
I don't know much about the aftercare program yet. I can't comment on that yet.
Dr. Smith definitly stressed the risks of this surgery. The video presentation was extremly informative. It presented all of the pros and cons.
My rating right now at this point is a 9 from what I have experienced so far.
I think that definitly surgical competence is better but it sure helps mentally having a doctor with a good bed side manner.
It's a little over three weeks and I need to update my surgeon info.
I feel that Doctor Smith did a great job. I have had no complications. Thank God. I went back to see him a week and a half after my surgery. He removed my drainage tube and did a general check up on me. I had lost 14lbs and he seemed happy with that. He doesn't talk alot but everything went fine. I will go back in to see him early in March. I'll report back."
