Hi Cara ~ fantastic job on your weight loss success - I enjoyed reading your messages and journal and thank you for keeping up with it so well, it was very encouraging ! Where in Oregon are you at? ANGEL UPDATE!!!!!!! Cara is doing great!!! She has been up walking and will probably have the epidural out tomorrow. Going home may be Thursday evening or Friday. She is amazed to be on "the other side" at last! Family and friends are gathering and she is anxious to be home.

Hi Everyone!!!!! Cara S. had her surgery this morning and all went smoothly. Cara had me taking pics as she was prepared for surgery and then again in ICU. She opted for the epidural at the last moment and it worked wonderfully for her. She was feeling no pain afterwards and was relieved to have the surgery over. NOW SHE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!

Best of luck on Monday, my surgery is that day also. Columbus Day is the perfect day to start a new journey in life isn't it?
