As Nancy's daughter said she is doing great, I did not speak to her today but I did yesterday and she left me a detailed message today. She sounds great and is now on her way to her new life. She sounds like her old self now. Till the next update.......

Just spoke with my mother; she is now out of the hospital and staying at the Sommerset Suites (Rm 202) nearby. She's doing OK and seems to be adjusting quite well. She has an appointment with Dr Tanaka Wednesday and then we go from there. She's now at a point where she can relax, so she's been sleeping off and on, as well as walking. Both Mom and Dad are enjoying 76-degree weather as we speak. Once again, thank you very much for your support. Tricia

Just spoke with Mom an hour ago. She is now on Demerol instead of morphine and is doing even better. The morphine was causing some kind of reaction last night, making her wired and hurt. Today, she walked four times around the hospital ward and may be going home Saturday, if not tomorrow. Lori, as well as myself, will keep you all posted as to any new developments. Once again, thank you all very much for your support. Tricia

I spoke to Nancy's husband first today and then to Nancy herself. She now has the morphine pump and is doing much better today, so her husband said. She was very groggy when I spoke to her, so everything is doing great for her and she'll do just fine. I will call and check on her tomorrow and keep everyone posted!!

Hang in there, Nancy! It's all downhill from here! The pain will pass and you'll be well on your way to a healthy life! Here's hoping your recovery is speedy and uneventful.

I spoke to Nancy's husband at the hospital and she is in some discomfort due to the low amount of pain meds she was allowed. She will need some extra prayers at this time for her comfort. She did fine through her surgery and I will call again tomorrow to check her progress!!

Mom is now in Room 702 at Scripps-Mercy Hospital. She is in a lot of pain, but otherwise seems fine. Please keep those messages coming. Tricia
