I spopke with Darrell last night and Christine is doing as well as can be expected. He said she is having the typical "day after surgery" pain and thoughts:) They have had her up in a chair, and they were going to walk later last night. I will check again later today as they are special people and I thouroughly enjoyed meeting them this week! Darrell said he has access to the internet at the hospital, so if anybody has time, drop Christine a note of encouragement!

Hi all, Just a few thoughts as I prepare for one more nite of sleep on THIS side of my journey. I want to say thank you to all who posted to my surgery page. What a loving and generous bunch of people! I want to say somrthing profound, but just keep thinking what a wonderful life with my hubby, Darrell and working together with him in our own business...I have a GREAT life now, but I can't even comprehend how much more enjoyable our time together, living longer, doing more, after this surgery. I truly know how lucky I am, and I only hope that once in every person's life, they can know love like this. I never thought someone could love me "like I am". I'm sorry, I am rambling, but I do believe someone said thats allowed right before you go in...LOL! Please look out for him, I will give him directions how to post, as the hospital has puters with www access. His name is Darrell Stone. (He's REALLY cute too!) Gotta go finish packing! Love to all, post ops who have had the courage before me and pre-ops who have the courage WITH me! I love you all! C'Ya on the other side!

Christine! I had a great time meeting you and Darrell and I look forward to seeing you on the other side! I will be praying and thinking about you all day tomorrow so know you aren't going through it alone girl! Take care....
